A reusable event framework for a Classic server that was maintaining a dozen separate one-off event scripts.

Thách thức

Every event was its own script with copy-pasted scheduling, rewards and announcements. Fixing a bug meant fixing it a dozen times.

We built one event engine handling scheduling, registration, teams, scoring, rewards and announcements, with events defined as small config-driven modules. Existing events were ported onto it.
